God's Work in West Africa

Dear Partners in the Gospel,

We thank God for His faithfulness and for another month of ministry. July brought opportunities to train new teachers, conduct classes, and share CCI's vision with pastors and church leaders in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

On July 3, CCI Liberia held a training meeting with 26 teachers and staff. They shared encouraging stories of how God is transforming students through His Word. We also discussed plans for Liberia's first CCI graduation in November. Teachers reported that many students are eager to resume their classes.

God is also advancing the ministry in Nigeria. Ten classes are now reaching more than 90 students. We thank Pastor Walter Egbe and his team for their faithful leadership and Perfect Edifiers for purchasing books for the students. Their generosity is a wonderful example of God's provision.

From July 6-9, we traveled to Sierra Leone to conduct a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW). Samuel Kamara, CCI's point person in Sierra Leone, believes this training will strengthen pastors and help equip more church leaders throughout the country. We thank God for opening this new door.

Training

Liberia Teacher Training Meeting

CCI Liberia held a training meeting for our teachers. We received encouraging feedback from all 26 teachers and staff, who shared powerful stories of how students’ lives are being transformed. Truly, CCI is making a great impact. Praise God!

Sierra Leone Teacher Training Workshop (TTW)

From July 6-9, we visited Sierra Leone to conduct a TTW. Nine pastors and one woman leader attended, and all 10 embraced CCI’s vision. Classes will begin when Book 1 arrives.

Samuel Kamara, CCI’s point person in Sierra Leone, shared that in a country where Islam has a strong influence, this training will help pastors develop stronger biblical convictions and provide clear, biblically grounded guidance on marriage and other important issues facing the church.

Liberia Teacher Training Workshop (TTW)

At the end of July, Henry Koisee conducted a Teacher Training Workshop at Christian Evangelistic Pentecostal Church in Lofa Packing, Gbarnga, Bong County. We thank God for this opportunity to equip new teachers to train others in His Word.

New Class

Teacher Henry Tablah started his class in July. We praise God for the multiplication that is taking place in Liberia. God is good! 

Pastor Henry said, "I am grateful to be a teacher at Crossing Cultures International! My students are excited, and we hope to continue learning until we graduate someday. I look forward to my wife, Abagail Tablah, starting her class as well."
