WINTER MOVIE UNDER THE STARS
Please bring your blankets, mittens, and snacks to join us for "Winter Movie Under The Stars" on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm. We will be screening the timeless Disney classic "Frozen." We will also serve not-so-hot chocolate and provide s'more kits for all attendees.

100th DAY OF LEARNING CELEBRATION |

We're almost there, folks! The 100th Day of Learning is upon us; we're ready to party! To celebrate this milestone, we're throwing a shindig, and we want your child to be the life of the party!
On January 19, 2024, we invite your child and our staff to dress as if they were 100 years old. That means gray wigs, canes, and glasses are all fair game. We want to see your little ones looking like they just stepped out of a time machine.

- ALLERGY ITEMS: PEANUTS, PEANUT BUTTER, SESAME SEEDS OR ANY TREE NUTS
If anything with Peanut Butter or Peanuts is sent in, we will have to take it to the dumpster and throw it away as we have children who can go into Anaphylactic shock on smelling or if someone else touches the item and touches them.
ITEMS THAT GA DECAL WILL NOT LET US SERVE:
Sugary items such as cookies, fruit snacks, and candy. Items such as chips. Yogurt must contain no more than 23 grams of total sugars per 6 ounces.
Breakfast cereals must contain no more than 6 grams of sugar per dry ounce.
CHOKING HAZARD:
Items that are choking hazards that shouldn’t be sent in and will not be served to children:
Hot dogs, even if cut up, cheese cubes, string cheese, melon balls, raw carrots, popcorn, and fish with bones.
Any Fruit, i.e., Grapes or Strawberries, has to be quartered into small pieces so that there is absolutely no danger of it being too big for a child to swallow.
Any food item that is of a shape or size that is hard to swallow if a child were to try and swallow without chewing it.

ADULTS TO WASH HANDS WHEN THEY ENTER CLASSROOMS!! |

Dear Goddard Families,
We are fogging our classrooms every evening and deep sanitizing toys. As we continue to try and keep germs out of our classrooms, we are also sharing with you GA’s policy with handwashing for anyone entering the classroom.
When you drop off or pickup, there are 2 ways that this can be done.
1. Drop off or pick up at the door without crossing the threshold. If you do this, the adult doesn’t have to go in and wash their hands following the 6 step handwashing process.
2. Go into the classroom to drop off or pickup. If you do this, the adult has to wash their hands, BEFORE, touching any surface in the classroom. The handwashing has to follow the below steps:
a. Open the faucet
b. Take the soap
c. Scrub your hands, outside the water, for 20 seconds (we ask children to sing the ABC song!)
d. Take paper towel and dry your hands
e. Use PAPER TOWEL to close the faucet. NOT your hands please.
