"King Me!"
1 Samuel 8:1-22
Pastor Bryan Eckelmann
“We want a King!” The leaders of the tribes of Israel wanted to change their government. They begged, pleaded, and insisted. This is a story of envying what others have rather than cherishing what we have. It’s a story of wanting (and trusting) a visible strongman over the Invisible God of the Universe.
As Christians, our deliverance, identity and destiny are found not in this world or its leaders, but in the unique and incomparable God who calls us to serve only Him.
