Uruguay is a country that has spawned musical genres stemming from a mix of cultures, as is clearly reflected in its music. This year, SXSW set the stage for seven extraordinary artists who are representative of the phenomenon of a culture created by immigrants, and who paved the way for a new identity.

According to Billboard, MAX CAPOTE is "one of the 10 Latino artists to keep an eye out during 2013." Having been nominated for the Latin Grammy in 2011, Max is a great singer and songwriter with a breathtaking history, peppered with stories that set the tone for who Max Capote is nowadays.
The award-winning singer of tango, waltzes and milongas who it is difficult to summarize such a successful and reknown career, but Malena Muyala summarizes Uruguay in many aspects. Is a great artist with a beautiful voice and songs with international prestige.
