What a year it has been! From a global pandemic to the Texas Freeze, we are very thankful for the support of our community that ensures the success of Katy ISD students and staff. Despite the challenges, our students and staff have accomplished incredible milestones this past year!
Bond 2021
To our Katy ISD Community - THANK YOU! Because of the voter-approved 2021 Bond, more than 85,000 Katy ISD students will benefit from building improvements, technology and safety upgrades, campus component replacements, and new schools that will provide enrollment relief in our rapidly growing district! Class of '21 Valedictorians & Salutatorians
Congratulations to the Class of 2021 Valedictorians and Salutatorians! These students have had a unique senior year and we are so proud of each of them for their drive, dedication, and perseverance. Community Elects New Board Members
During the May Regular Board Meeting, two Trustees were sworn in as the result of the May 2021 Board Election. Welcome back to Dawn Champagne, who will serve in position 7, as well as to Rebecca Fox, who will serve in position 6. Along with the inducted members, Greg Schulte was appointed as the 2021-22 president, Lance Redmon as vice president, and Dawn Champagne as secretary.
Katy ISD Earns Excellence in Financial Management Award
This past February, the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) presented Katy ISD with the Distinguished Award of Excellence in Financial Management. Thank you and congratulations to our Financial Services team for the outstanding work they do in managing District and campus funds!
Katy ISD Dedicates Two New Campuses
This Spring, we dedicated two new campuses - Peter McElwain Elementary and Jordan High School. Both were wonderful celebrations of the hard work and excellence our staff, students, and local businesses have put in to open these beautiful campuses. It is an honor to also recognize Peter McElwain and the Jordan Family for their lasting impact on our Katy ISD community. See more photos:
Gold Card Club
Katy ISD residents age 65 and older can participate in the Gold Card Club for free. Membership benefits include free admission to Katy ISD regular season athletic events and free or reduced-price admission to most Katy ISD fine arts performances (with the exception of fundraisers) at all District campuses and facilities. You must present your Gold Card at events in order to receive member benefits.

To obtain a Gold Card, residents must visit the Education Support Complex, located at 6301 S. Stadium Lane, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and present valid identification that includes their name, address and date of birth.
