Through My Lens

March/ 2017

We all look at life through our own lens

Sue Reading

Wisdom or time? That is the question. This poem speaks to both.
Youth has time but age has wisdom....so how we spend this valuable asset of time?  It can only be spent once so choose wisely.

Until Next Time

Bag of Coins

By my bed each day sits a bag of coins

I can choose how to spend them each day.

When I was young the bag was full

So I threw most of them away.

As the years drifted by there were fewer gold coins,

So more selective I became, you see.

For how I spend these valuable coins

Is really all up to me.

These coins represent the energy I have

That is less as the years slip by.

How I spend these valuable coins

Will bring happiness or sadness to I.

So with age comes wisdom so I'll now decide

How to spend my coins today.

I will choose what's good, true, and right

And not throw my coins away.
