Below are your final instructions for the 2019
Gold Country Half Marathon, 5k presented by Marshall Medical Center, and Kids' k.  Please be sure to review all the details below for essential race day information!

A Note on the Weather: Race day looks like a wet one with temperatures in the high-40s to low-50s, but the race committee and our great volunteers are going to do everything possible to help you enjoy the last chilly and rainy day we're likely to see until October! With this forecast,  we're sure we don't need to remind you to dress warmly and dress in layers--but remember, your bib must be fully visible on your outermost layer at all times!

We have worked closely with CHP and EDH Fire throughout planning this event, and if lightning or other unsafe conditions emerge we have contingencies for delaying the race start and holding the race once safer conditions have resumed. In that case--and in any case!--please follow all instructions from race officials, whose number one priority is your safety!
5k presented by Marshall Medical Center
The 5k race has a beginner-friendly one-hour course cut-off time (19:21/mile pace).  You canview the 5k map at the bottom of this page.
Half Marathon
The half marathon has a four-hour cut-off time (18:20/mile pace). You can view the half marathon map at the bottom of this page.

Both races feature the Hoka One One Fly to the Finish - The area's quickest final mile!

All 5k and half marathon finishers will  receive medals as they cross the finish line!
*Note to runners: Runners who fall behind pace in either the 5k or half marathon will be asked to move to the sidewalk by law enforcement personnel or race staff, as the roads must be reopened at these times.  This is for the safety of our participants.  Runners who do not finish within the cut-off times should not expect on-course support (medical, aid stations, course marshals) and may not receive an official finish time or medal.

Kids' k
The Kids' k map can be viewed here.  Please scroll to the bottom of the page.  All Kids' k finishers will receive participant ribbons.
