It’s that time of year again! Your help each year with the Gold Star Program is absolutely instrumental to its success! We greatly appreciate your extra efforts!

With the success of online nominations last year, your school will not be receiving brochures. If you have a request for a physical nomination form, we are happy to deliver them.

At the bottom left side of this email are some graphics, feel free to use these in your schools or in emails you may send out.

The following is a list of important dates for the 2024 Gold Star Program:

Friday, January 19                  

• Nomination form opens!
• Begin promoting the Gold Star Award in your school memos and announcements from now through February 20th.

Tuesday, February 20               

• Deadline for nominations. (Nominations need to be submitted or postmarked by 11:59pm)
• If you have had paper copies turned in, please call us and we will pick them up.

Tuesday, March 19                  

• Applications of nominated teachers due.
• Applications must be submitted or postmarked by 11:59pm.

Tuesday, May 14                 

• Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching Ceremony, 7:00 p.m., Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
