The purpose of this week to It is our responsibility as members and affiliates of Sigma Gamma Rho to stand up against hazing and be a positive force in our middle and high schools, college campuses and communities to create change. We are asking all members and affiliates to Take the Pledge to Stand Stronger Together and disrupt the culture of hazing! Let’s work together to raise awareness about the problem, educate others and promote the prevention of hazing. We hope that during the 2022 - 2023 sorority year that we can evaluate our positive and negative chapter traditions and work towards creating the most positive membership experience possible.

Philo Affiliate National Training Opportunities for 2022-2023. Monthly Tech Tuesday trainings will provide technology tips, tools and resources to enhance Philo Affiliate operational practices. Strategy Saturday trainings will provide additional training opportunities in the areas of recruitment, officer training and affiliate development.

We are excited to announce that March of Dimes is extending the 2022 Advocacy Action Challenge! The challenge will run through the end of September. MOD would love to give a special thanks to all of the partners that have had members signed up thus far, but our continued support is needed. July Centennial Gifts and Refunds
- Attendees that notified the Grand Grammateus before July 2022 boule were provided the opportunity to request their gifts to be mailed or picked up by another conference attendee on the designated date and time at the conference.

Attendees who opted for their conference gifts to be mailed will receive them no later than September 30, 2022.
- All Leadership Givers who did not attend and notified that Grand Grammateus will receive gifts no later than September 30, 2022. (Leadership Givers gift packages will be sent to the Primary Donor.)
- Request for registration gift refunds for attendees that did not attend July 2022 Boule will not be honored.
- Refunds and exchanges for dresses that attendees received during Boule will not be honored as there was an opportunity to exchange on-site with the vendor.

Rhoyalty Reawakens – Wakanda Forever a Centennial Screening
As you all know Sigma’s Founders’ Day is quickly approaching and so it should come as no surprise that Rhoyalty Reawakens on the eve of our Centennial. We would ask that you mark your calendars for Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2 PM. The place, Indianapolis, IN – Regal Circle City 9. You may recall that when last we were home, we showed up in full form and in full regalia for events and it was glorious. As such, attire for the official event will be All White with pearls and a splash of royal blue and gold. We are dressing in honor of those who have come before us, we are dressing for the ancestors, we are showing up and showing out for the Founders. Be it African attire, be it general attire, whether you dress up or dress down, we ask that you come on with it. How ever you do it, we ARE doing it! All White with pearls and a splash of royal blue and gold is the charge. For those of you who don’t have or are not comfortable wearing all white, we ask that you pick royal blue and gold and adorn yourself head to toe in our colors.
We believe in you. Come on with it. Do the thing. Do ALL the things. High fashion, high form. You know how Sigma does. Let’s get it done.

Please note that trip deposits are non-refundable, and registrations are non-transferable. Vaccine Equity Program Grant Partnership
We have now entered Cycle 2 of the Vaccine Equity Partnership Grant. In this cycle, the CDC is asking us to do more hands-on groundwork. Therefore, we are encouraging chapters and affiliates to get more involved in this effort. The focus continues to be on Covid-19 and Influenza vaccines and now includes all routine vaccines. The target population is Adults in African American and Latino Adult communities. Below are the continued ways to support.
1. Attend virtual Good Health Wins Community of Practice (educational campaign) held on the first and third Thursdays of the month - once the zoom registration is sent you can share it with your chapter. Attending these Community of Practice (educational Campaign) count toward our participation in the Vaccine Equity Partnership Grant.
2. Embed COVID-19, Influenza, and routine vaccines messaging in your current programming - If you all need assistance with messages to share -Let me know.
3. Plan and have actual events targeting preventing the spread of COVID19 and Influenza and promotion of all vaccines. The target audience should be adults in African American and Latino communities. - This could be passing out masks, vaccination clinics or vaccination opportunities, webinars, etc.
4. Doing a Social Media campaign with chapter members. This could be in the form of flyers, videos, reposting, and sharing on all social media platforms. using hashtag #sgrhocovidresponse, #GHW

The ICHQ Team will be closed to the membership on Friday, September 30, 2022, the 5th Friday of this month, to give our staff scheduled, uninterrupted time to work on special projects, backlog, and training opportunities.
While our volunteers are continuing to work on and clear BAD ADDRESSES, our ICHQ team will be diligently working to clear out overdue tickets. Thank you for using the Help button at the bottom of the Member Portal page to submit a ticket for your concern. We are laser-focused on responding to your requests as quickly as possible.

Induction Materials Fulfillment
Your valid concerns have been brought to our attention regarding your induction materials.
To date, Award Concepts has processed 892 shipments to chapters and affiliates around the country. Spring 22 membership kits were processed in two segments: on June 21, 2022, and again on August 19, 2022.
Our operational plan is to have all remaining backlog shipped by the company by September 30, 2022. We have validated the needed inventory and Award Concepts is prepared to meet this deadline. This backlog includes 849 Soror Kits, 41 Rhoer Items/ Kits, and 114 Philo Items/ Kits.
New member kits include an official badge, personalized certificate, vol. 1 history book, constitution and bylaws, and Founders' cards. The member kits are now shipped in bulk (one package) to the chapter address that we have one file, and the fulfillment center will send a tracking number to the chapter email address on file.
Please take this opportunity to update your chapter profile to ensure accurate and timely communication. Moving forward, we plan to have a better fulfillment experience as membership numbers continue to surge.
