Kathy (Kandalec) Maus '66

I attended Sacred Heart School and MCC.  My husband, Steve, and I have 2 children, Andy '95 (Kate) Maus and Dana '98 (Bill '98) Martin and 3 grandchildren Lilly, Will and Alyson.  I started working as a Teacher's Aide at Sacred Heart School in 1986 and continued to work at St. Michael's, St. Francis and MCCE.  Over the years, I had the privilege of working with some of the best, most caring and hardest working teachers.  I've worked with so many terrific students, helping them, watching them grow, sharing their failures and successes.  I've met so many loving, dedicated parents who have helped make our school such a success!  I am retiring after all these years knowing I will miss the staff, parents and most of all the students who have so touched my heart!  My husband and I are planning on spending more time with our grandchildren.  I am really looking forward to not having to turn off that alarm anymore.  Everyday is going to be a Saturday!
