Information Sessions are a wonderful opportunity to meet our teachers and learn about our engaging curriculum. Mark your calendars for these upcoming events.

Program Spotlight: The Fours

(4 years-old by September 30)

The Fours Preschool Program develops skills in literacy and math. The written word is highlighted through songs, poems, nursery rhymes, stories and books. Children are introduced to and encouraged to use inventive spelling and manipulate print as they sign-in daily, label murals, create graphs and add to class messages. Mathematics become a key part of curriculum content. The children practice one-to-one correspondence, rote count backwards and forwards to 10, sort using 3+ attributes, find patterns and work together to compare data in graphs. This program also continues daily Spanish lessons. These classrooms are referred to as the Frogs and Butterflies. Lunch Bunch until 1:15pm and Full-Day Preschool Enrichment until 6pm is available.

Recent News

New shoes, big smiles and lots of happy children started the 2021-22 school year at Golden Pond School! As a team, we supported families with the adjustment of returning to school. Early bedtimes, talking about new friends at school and staying positive helped the children settle into their new routine. Working together with teachers, parents were able to give their little ones just what they need to have a great start to the year!

15 Years of Teaching Experience

Abbey wanted to be a teacher since her first days of Kindergarten. She asked her mother “How much does the teacher have to pay to come play with us every day?” Her love and desire to be an educator only grew since that day.

After hearing wonderful reviews from local GPS alumni families, Abbey discovered Golden Pond School and since 2013, has been the Junior Kindergarten Lead Teacher and continues to make learning fun and exciting. Her dedication and passion for teaching at GPS create a rewarding and unforgettable experience for each student.
