Summer Camp registration is open!

Join your friends for a summer of fun with our 2-week camps. Themes include Amazing Artists, Building Bonanza, Wacky Science, Kids in the Kitchen and Reading Camp. Half Day Camp starts at 9am, ends at 1pm and includes an AM snack and lunch. Full Day campers can arrive as early at 7am and pick up is at 6pm with breakfast, lunch and AM/PM snacks included. Water Wednesday is back again and we are looking forward to making memories together!

Recent News

👏 A new GPS tradition has started and we are thrilled to announce our congratulations to Ms. Michelle Horton, the Golden Pond School Teacher of the Year! Ms. Horton is the Lead Teacher in Room 3 for the Bees & Kangaroos classrooms and was chosen by our staff to represent GPS. The congratulations continue as Ms. Horton was selected as the Cadence Education second-tier winner for the Northeast Region out of 72+ schools.

The Teacher of the Year standards are high, and the teacher must meet specific criteria for this recognition.

Ms. Horton always goes above and beyond with her students and her coworkers. She is hardworking, humble and leads by example with her heart and creativity. With 18+ years of experience we were lucky she joined the GPS team 5 years ago and her dedication to early childhood education and development is admirable. We know just how special Ms. Horton is and we are so excited that everyone else now knows it too!

Fall Enrollment

We are currently touring and enrolling students and recommend that all prospective parents visit Golden Pond School as the first step in the admissions process.

When touring GPS, you will see our school environment, meet our impressive faculty and staff, and receive an admissions information packet. Tours are recommended if you would like to see a particular program in action. Prospective Preschool and Kindergarten parents are encouraged to schedule appointments between 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Tours for the After School Enrichment program are recommended after 2:30 p.m.

Tours usually take about 30 minutes to an hour and we accept new student applications upon completion of the tour.

Program Spotlight

3-Years

8:20-11:20am

3 years-old by September 30

The Threes program builds on social, physical, and academic skills with experiential learning. There is an emphasis on language, daily Spanish lessons, music, song, finger plays and art, while also working on social skills, manners and respecting others and our world. This curriculum is designed to be interactive and ignite a child’s natural curiosity. Recently, the Three's classrooms explored their Five Senses with a cereal taste test, musical instruments, a guessing game with the Feely Box, matching scents, blindfold challenges and light box finger paint prints. 👁️👃✋👂😋

Lunch Bunch until 1:15pm and Full-Day Preschool Enrichment until 6pm is available.
