Ulysses Skate Park Update

Ulysses Skate Park is open, but an open construction site surrounds it. Safety is our number one priority, and we have seen and ticketed people breaking into the construction area. If this behavior continues, we will need to close the skate park for safety.

Please help us by staying respectful of off-limits area and encouraging others to do the same. Together, we can keep the park available for everyone.

Coffee with Councilors

May 3, 10 a.m. at the Golden Community Center

Join your City Councilors for an informative and engaging discussion about the Co-Responder Program within our Police Department. This innovative initiative pairs mental health professionals with police officers to respond to behavioral health crises, providing compassionate care and de-escalation during critical incidents.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How the Co-Responder Program works and its benefits to the community
  • Real-life examples of how the program has made an impact
  • The vision for enhancing public safety and mental health support in Golden

This is your chance to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about how Golden is addressing mental health needs alongside public safety.
