New Public Health Order Mandates Face Coverings Indoors, Effective Today
The Jefferson County Board of Health issued a new public health order that requires all individuals ages three and older to wear a mask or cloth face covering when in indoor public spaces in Jefferson County, regardless of vaccination status. The order went into effect today.

Masks are now required at the Golden Community Center, so please plan to bring a face covering for your visit to the GCC.

If you’re a business owner in the City of Golden who needs signage to post in your business, there are printed signs available in English and Spanish in City Hall.

You can read the full press release for more information on the reasons why Public Health Order 20-38 was deemed necessary.
