The Goldmund Quartet is greeting the new season with a ten-city tour across North America from January 12-30, 2024. Their passionate style and critically-acclaimed depth of playing will be on full display when they offer audiences a wide-range of repertoire, including such works as Haydn’s Quartet in D Minor, Op. 76, No. 2; Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major; Schumann’s Quartet in A Major, Op. 41, No. 3; Webern’s Langsamer Satz for String Quartet; Schulhoff’s Five Pieces for Quartet; and Beethoven’s Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1. They will present programs at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC (January 12); Parlance Chamber Concerts in Ridgewood, NJ (January 14); the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society in Philadelphia, PA (January 16); Montgomery Chamber Music Organization in Montgomery, AL (January 18); Capital Region Classical in Schenectady, NY (January 21); String Theory at The Hunter in Chattanooga, TN (January 23); Chamber Music Society of Salt Lake City in Salt Lake City, UT (January 25); Chamber Music Concert Series in Ashland, OR (January 26 & 27); Chamber Music Northwest in Portland, OR (January 28); and Vancouver Friends of Chamber Music in Vancouver, BC (January 30). |
