NEW RECORDINGS

The Quartet recently released two CDs showcasing their mastery over a diverse range of repertoire. A limited vinyl-only recording was produced on the Neue Meister label entitled Prisma featuring works by Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, and Uno Helmersson as well as two newly commissioned pieces by Pascal Schumacher and Sophia Jani. The second recording, released on the Berlin Classic’s label, turned their sights on Schubert’s epic Der Tod und das Mädchen - a work that resonates deeply with the Quartet and was among the first pieces the ensemble performed over a decade ago. Additionally, the CD is supplemented by Schubert’s songs arranged by Jakob Encke.
