History was made at the Junior/U23 World Championships
Individual Race Highlights
Some (but not all!) of the highlights from the Championships include individual results from:
Julia Kern racing to 3rd in the U23 sprint. In the U23 women's 10km classic, Julia finished 4th with Hailey Swirbul finishing in 7th. Hunter Wonders finished 8th overall in the U23 men's 15km classic.

Sophia Laukli finished 5th in the women's 15km mass start, moving up from a 56th seed! Novie McCabe raced into the top 10!

And to top off the week a GOLD MEDAL win for Gus Schumacher in the 10km classic! With Ben Ogden and Luke Jager in the top 10 as well! And Ben Ogden sprinting into 6th in the men's sprint.

GOLD - The junior men's relay team dominated the 4x5km course. Leading from every leg with confidence and power, they came out as champions the second year in a row!
Perseverence Leads to Podium
SILVER - The junior women rose to a 2nd place finish in the 4x3km relay! Well done after a week of hard racing to these speedy ladies.
Interview with Gus Schumacher's Coach Jan Buron
The NNF is proud to showcase the Team behind the Team. History is made and the man who has been with Gus since the age of 8 is no other than U.S. Ski Team Coach of the year Jan Buron.

The NNF caught up with Jan after Gus’ historic win. The NNF salutes all coaches and thanks you for all you do.

Junior Nationals Begins!
This week in Truckee, CA the best juniors in the U.S. will race at the 2020 Junior Nationals. Stay tuned for race results, they begin with the Classic Individual 5/10km race Monday.
