FEATURED PROJECTS

We are pleased to share some of our latest projects in our ongoing mission to enhance affordable housing.

Matinecock Court

After more than four decades since its initial proposal, the long-awaited Matinecock Court is coming to fruition. Situated in Long Island, this transformative endeavor is set to introduce 146 limited-equity cooperative homes to the area.

Goldstein Hall proudly served as legal counsel for the D&F Development Group in the development of the Matinecock Court project. Our team provided legal guidance from pre-development through closing phases, navigating legal and financial complexities, securing approvals, and ensuring smooth transactions. Our support included structuring, document drafting, financial reviews, approvals coordination, and legal compliance.

The Matinecock Court project holds great promise for the Long Island community, offering affordable housing solutions that have been long-awaited and sorely needed. We are excited to see the positive transformations this development will bring to the neighborhood and look forward to witnessing its profound impact on the local housing landscape.

Kay's Place

Goldstein Hall proudly served as legal counsel for the collaborative efforts of Mercy Home for Children and Procida Development Group (PDG) in their ambitious project to construct an impressive eleven-story mixed-use building within the newly-rezoned Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn. Our team adeptly managed complex legal matters related to zoning changes, financing arrangements, and regulatory compliance, aligning all aspects of the project with the governing laws and regulations. As we look ahead to the anticipated completion of this impressive endeavor in 2025, Goldstein Hall remains committed to supporting our clients, Mercy Home and PDG, every step of the way, as they continue to transform their vision into a vibrant and successful addition to the Gowanus neighborhood.

2435 Pacific Street

Situated in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, 2435 Pacific Street represents a substantial $171 million development project encompassing a 10-story structure with a total of 236 affordable apartments. Among these apartments, 142 are equipped with supportive services, and there is an accompanying 7,000-square-foot commercial space designated for use by our client, Love Fellowship Tabernacle Church.  Goldstein Hall advised on the project's legal and financial structure, drafted essential operating agreements, and coordinated pre-development activities. During the ground lease closing, our team prepared and negotiated agreements, facilitated approval processes, and addressed financing and title matters. We continued to support the project during construction and lease-up, including negotiating commercial leases, benefiting the East New York community.
