UNITED WAY YOUTH BOARD

United Way of West Central Connecticut's Youth Board "Pack the Kindness" Initiative was a success!

The Youth Board filled 130 backpacks that were donated to SVDP Mission of Bristol, The Agape House Inc. of Bristol, and Brian's Angels Homeless Outreach. These backpacks have hand warmers, lip balm, a pen & notebook, snacks, and other necessities for those who are unhoused.

Thank you to the Mayor's Office Bristol CT, Thomaston Savings Bank, Cigna Healthcare, Bristol Central & Eastern High Schools, St. Paul Catholic High School, Lewis S. Mills High School, and Terryville High School for donating the contents to fill the backpacks.

Small acts of kindness make a big difference for all those in our community.

32nd ANNUAL DAY OF CARING

The 32nd Annual Day of Caring is coming up quick

Friday, May 17, 2024!

We are still accepting projects from nonprofits located in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, and Plymouth/Terryville until Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Last year over 300 volunteers mobilized and their combined efforts completed 26 projects. We hope you will join us this year.

Volunteering is open to community groups, civic organizations, businesses of all sizes, individuals, students, and folks wishing to support the community.
