Are You Interested in Hosting an Adaptive Golf Tournament?

If you answered "YES" to this question, that's great, but are you really ready? Do you already provide a welcoming, accessible and inclusive environment for golfers with disabilities to learn and play the game? If you are not yet providing barrier free access to the buildings and the golf course and a culture that embraces golfers of ALL abilities, here is where you need to begin.

Conduct a "Self-Assessment" of your facility and gauge how prepared you really are. Do you have an accessible website? Have you used the ADA Checklist for Existing Facilities - Golf Facilities to evaluate your practice areas and course for ADA compliance? Do you have clear, published policies on your website to help ensure positive experiences for both golfers and staff? Are you conducting staff and leadership training related to the ADA and the game of golf to foster a culture of inclusion?

If you can answer "NO" to any one of these four questions, your facility has some opportunities for improvement and the National Alliance is here to help. Visit GAIN - the Golf Access and Inclusion Network®, access the Alliance Education Hub and begin your assessment today.
