Moving The CG

Moving The CG
Moving The CG

Swinging with good rhythm and flow is important in any golf swing. Moving your center of gravity correctly is an essential ingredient in order for this to happen. Please watch the video for a complete demonstration for how you can incorporate this into your golf swing.

I thought I would try to lighten things up with all that is going on in the world today. I hope this video puts a smile on your face.
Moe Norman

Moe Norman shows his Master Move, Vertical Drop, and Coin Drill.

Some of you may have heard about Moe Norman. He was a Canadian professional golfer that was legendary among other professionals. Sam Snead called him the greatest ball striker of all time. He shot 59 three times, won the Canadian PGA Championship twice, played in the Masters tournament and is in the Canadian Hall of Fame.

I am including this video of Moe so you can get a sense of his swing and the man himself. This technique is somewhat topical because Bryson DeChambeau is patterning his swing after Moe's in one important respect. (Bryson is getting a lot of attention for his weight and strength gains recently as well.)The primary similarity is that the club is swung on the same plane as the address shaft plane throughout the swing.

Moe Norman had a reputation of being slightly autistic and was known as the "rain man" of golf. He was a superb ball striker and he proves that there is more than one way to swing well. You will see that he was not under confident. I hope you enjoy the video.

Student Of The Month

My Student Of The Month is Mark Priest. Mark has been working hard on his game and recently made a breakthrough. He broke 80 for the first time with an excellent round of 77 at Glen Ivy. Congratulations Mark!!

Jeremy Klinkhamer is here to give the fitness tip of the month. This month's video shows you two great tests to help you to determine if your body is strong enough to power your game. You may want to take the time to perform these tests as they could be very revealing.

I have been working with Jeremy since 2000. I have sent many students to him to improve both their fitness and functionality. I have seen amazing results! The evidence is both in the way they feel and the improvement that has been shown in their golf games. You can reach Jeremy at [email protected] if you would like more information about what he offers.
