NAIG Development Clinics Approaching
The North American Indigenous Games are coming to Saskatchewan this July and Golf Saskatchewan is hosing six development clinics in preparation for the games.
"It's important to provide opportunities to aboriginal youth to develop and excel in our sport," said Phil Grosse, Golf Saskatchewan Manager of Sport Development.
"Whether these kids go on to represent Saskatchewan at the North American Indigenous Games or not, they will have had the opportunity to meet new friends, enhance their golfing abilities and gain a new level of appreciation for the game."
Golf Saskatchewan is proud to announce Brian Sinclair, head professional from the Regina Beach Golf Club, as the head coach for Saskatchewan's team at the North American Indigenous Games. Sinclair will be working with the players leading up to the games.
Camp dates in Saskatoon are Feb. 16, March 16, and April 6.
