The Hitting Zone in Saskatoon
The Hitting Zone is Saskatoon's newest indoor golf simulator opened its doors to Saskatchewan golf enthusiasts.

The Hitting Zone is located at #1 - 2155 Airport Drive Saskatoon, SK

Featuring six golf course simulators with over 160 courses to choose from to play a full 18 holes and establish a score, 1-4 players, pub and grub, plenty of parking.

Open Mon-Sat 9:30am to 11pm, Sun 10am-9pm

Golf SK Annual General Meeting

March 28th - Royal Regina Golf Club, Regina, SK


It is beneficial for Member Clubs to send representatives to the Golf Saskatchewan Annual General Meeting as this is the kickoff to the golf season and important information will be presented about Golf Saskatchewan's programs that benefit Member Clubs such as MAP grant funding, junior and women's development programs and membership information.  


There will also be roundtable discussions of important topics that delegates and guests will participate in to help club's with growth and development.

2 Voting Delegates from each Golf Saskatchewan Member Club may attend as well as any guests that wish to come.

Order of Merit Tour Winners

The 2015 Golf Saskatchewan Order of Merit Tours will soon be starting up but we need to acknowledge our 2014 winners.  The Order of Merit Tour winners are:

The Junior Order of Merit Tour Winners are:

Handicap System Seminar


Is Your Club's Handicap Certification Up-To-Date?

The 2015 Golf Saskatchewan Handicap Seminars will take place on Sunday, May 24th from 1-4 PM. One seminar will be held in Regina at the Royal Regina Golf Club and the other seminar will be held at the JVR Building in Saskatoon (Golf Saskatchewan Offices - 510 Cynthia Street).


Golf Courses that have members are required to have a handicap committee and to maintain handicap certification. Clubs that have re-certified in 2011-2014 will not need to attend the handicap seminar.  Please CLICK HERE for a complete list of clubs that will need to re-certify in 2015.


**New for 2015, an Online Handicap Certification System will be in place by April so for those who cannot make it to the seminars, you will be able to certify online.

2015 Provincial Championships 


On April 15th, the online registration system will open to registrations.  The event calendar is as follows:

  • July 8-10, Amateur Women's & Mid Amateur Men at the Elk Ridge Resort, Waskesiu Lake
  • July 20-22, Junior Women's/Men's at the Deer Park MGC, Yorkton
  • July 27-30, 104th Amateur Men's at the TS&M Woodlawn GC, Estevan
  • Aug 5-7, Senior Women's/Men's at the Hillcrest GC, Moose Jaw
  • Aug 12-13, Women's Rosebowl at Golf Kenosee
  • Aug 22-23, Mixed Team Championship at Evergreen GC, Nipawin

Spring golf gone bad    


If you haven't viewed the video - (click above), and watch Brennan Rumancik, Assistant Professional at the Elmwood GC in Swift Current is trying out the new Taylor-Made Irons on a sunny afternoon.  Great shot but ....     


Just like everyone else, we can't wait to get the 2015 year started.  We hope the weather (and Brennan) warm up fast. 

Easter Golf Camp    

The Easter Golf Camp is heading to Comox, BC at the Crown Isle Resort from April 4th to 9th. This will be an unbelievable trip and an opportunity to get a jump start on the golf season.

SAGE Scholarship 
The 2015 SAGE Scholarship deadline is approaching quickly.  Please get your application in before the April 1st, 2015 deadline.  Recipients will be announced May 10th.
