Summer Baseball Camps for Kids are Underway

The JP4 Foundation is providing kids from the Sanneh Foundation opportunities to develop life skills, be introduced to the game of baseball, and gain some 1:1 time with a coach. The first week of camps focused on management of stress and behavior. Camps meet at the Sanneh Foundation on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-11:30am.

Prior to the start of camps, coaches participated in a 2-hour clinic, led by Nancy Burns of Midwest Educational Consultants, that focused on nonverbal management skills and also participated in a conversation around Race in the Twin Cities, led by Paul Spies of Metropolitan State University - School of Urban Education.

The JP4 Foundation remains ready to deliver additional camps throughout the summer as community organizations begin to re-open.

Golf Tournament FAQ's

What COVID Guidelines will be taken?
We will follow all MDH/CDC guidelines that are in place on the day of the tournament. At this time, we fully expect golfers will be able to ride two to a cart.  If you are feeling sick the day of the event, we will ask you to stay home. Sanitizing or washing of hands often is recommended. Hand sanitizer will be available at starting and scoring areas.

Do you need to be present to win a silent auction item?
We encourage everyone to participate in our silent auction, no matter where you are! The JP4 Foundation will set up a pick-up location, ship your item, or have a volunteer drop off your silent auction winnings.

What if we experience inclement weather?
We will plan on golfing rain or shine unless the course is deemed unplayable by management. If weather conditions are severe and we are unable to start the golf tournament, we will plan for an alternative date.

What if I am not a golfer but would like to support the cause?
There are plenty of ways to support the cause while not golfing. We are always looking for volunteers to help with registration or hole/course games. In addition, we are in need of silent auction baskets and volunteers to recruit sponsorships and golfers. If you are interested in anyway, please reach out to Jeff Huth at 763.242.2125.

Will there be a social gathering after the event?
At this time, we plan on having a small gathering after the event. Tickets will be limited in number, are priced at $25 and can be purchased  here . If MDH/CDC COVID guidelines at the time do not allow social gathering, all tickets will be refunded.
