New Golisano Archives Exhibit Open at RIT
In celebration of the launch of Tom Golisano's first book, Built, Not Born, updates have been made to the Tom Golisano Archives multimedia display in in the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. The exhibit focuses on Tom's business and entrepreneurial contributions. The Golisano Archives housed at RIT includes photos, media clips, records, and memorabilia preserving records of his professional and public service. The building is open M-F from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 am – 6 p.m. and Sundays noon – 6 p.m. Parking is in J Lot, in front of the Golisano Sustainability Institute.

Golisano Behavioral Health & Wellness Building Construction is Progressing
Snow hasn't stopped the progress of the new Golisano Behavioral Health and Wellness Building. The much-needed new home and primary outpatient location for Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Behavioral Health and Wellness program will more than double s pace for outpatient and partial hospitalization services. The program helps patients with depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other behavioral and emotional conditions. T he building is expected to open this summer and will be connected to the new Golisano Autism Center , which opened in September 2019.
Dr. Siasoco Receives Special Olympics NY Golisano Health Leadership Award
Congratulations to Dr. Vincent Siasoco, recipient of the 2019 Special Olympics Golisano Health Leadership Award for NY. The award recognizes those who make significant contributions to  Special Olympics Health programs and the promotion of healthcare, wellness, and fitness for people with intellectual disabilities.

Dr. Siasoco leads Special Olympics health screenings, recruits Clinical Directors and has improved athlete access to quality follow-up health care and year-round wellness and fitness programs.
Move to Include to Receive Catholic Charities Champion Award March 13
Boys & Girls Club Sensory Room Opens
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester new sensory room is now open, equipped with a color-changing bubble tube, bean bags, colored fiber optic bundles, a projector with rotating scenes, soft floor and wall padding, calming CDs, iPads, and a platform that vibrates in time with music. The Foundation provided a $15,000 grant to help create the room. More kids with developmental disabilities are joining the Club, which serves 200-plus kids a day. Ann Costello, Golisano Foundation Director, said, "The heart of the Golisano Foundation is to include, accept, and provide opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so we were thrilled to be able to support the Club’s sensory room. We understand the importance of offering the right resources for everyone to have meaningful participation in the community, and the Club is working to do just that,"
Bailey and Friends is a new component of the Golisano Foundation that is dedicated to supporting animal welfare in Western NY and Southwest Florida. With a focus on dogs and cats, Bailey and Friends is committed to working with shelters, rescue groups, veterinary clinics and other lifesaving programs to promote wellness, ensure safety and keep pets and families together.
Bailey and Friends Helps Pet Peace of Mind Program® for Hospice Patients
We are pleased to provide a grant of $2,000 to help support the Pet Peace of Mind Program®, which provides care to pets of terminally ill patients. Hospice patients are able to keep their pets at home throughout their end of life journey, enabling them to continue to enjoy and benefit from the unconditional love, comfort and companionship from their pets. The grant will help cover costs associated with feeding, grooming, transportation to vet and other appointments.
Grant to Mr. Grey’s Strays to Help Community Cats
Bailey and Friends, is providing a grant of $1,500 to Mr. Grey’s Strays to support the TNVR Project (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) for feral kittens and cats in Brockport and surrounding rural areas. The grant will be used throughout 2020 for veterinary care of community cats and needed supplies.
