Hello Quilters!

Can you believe it is August already?   Maybe it is the age talkin’ but holy cow, these days are flying by!  You never hear people talk about the dog days of summer anymore, that is for sure.  Everyone’s calendars are full of fun things to do, places to go…especially since we missed so much last year.  I do hope that you have had the opportunity to do some fun things! We met so many wonderful people thru the two-month Iowa Shop Hop….and everyone said the same thing – they were having a great time getting out and about.  We don’t take that for granted anymore!   

The shop has been busy – planning some fall classes.  Be sure to share the schedule with friends – or maybe someone that you think would love to learn to quilt.  Our basic classic is built for confidence building!

Last month we had fun seeing the variety of patterns that Sherri Falls, the designer behind This & That, offers.  And we have another great one to share again this month.  Joanne will be in charge – and has chosen Patchabilities as the Designer of the Month.   And how fun! We have watched her grow into a major designer – with her whimsical patterns.   Can’t wait to see what Joanne has to tempt us with!

Don’t forget that this is the month to share the results of our latest challenge – to select and make a project from a magazine.  Pretty wide range of possibilities there!  Can’t wait to see what YOU decided to do.
