BCF Hits the Road for Our

Annual Bus Tour of Nonprofits

On November 12, Bayou Community Foundation celebrated National Philanthropy Day with donors, partners and friends on our 2025 Bus Tour of Nonprofits.

We saw firsthand the amazing work being done by grantees in Houma to address critical needs, and the incredible impact our grants are making in our community.

Stops included St. Francis Vegetable Garden, Terrebonne Churches United Food Bank, Youth Community After School Program, MacDonell United Methodist Children's Home and Firm Foundation of Houma.

We also heard inspiring presentations from 32nd JDC Family Preservation Court, Bags Of Hope, and Cherish Times Two.

A special thanks to our tour sponsors Woodside Energy and Louisiana Blue, to Terrebonne Arc for providing a bus and driver, and to all of our donors whose generous gifts throughout the year are MAKING GREAT THINGS HAPPEN in Terrebonne, Lafourche and Grand Isle!
