A Q for You...
Do you enjoy watching live content on social media?
Yes, it's my favorite part.
Not really.
Sometimes, if I catch it.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Emerging Leader Spotlight
Credit Union: New Orleans Firemen's FCU
Title: Chief Administrative and Development Officer

Demonstration of Leadership: Armand has been able to work with and guide the NOFFCU Team, successfully winning recognition awards and grant dollars to bolster the credit union’s underserved endeavors. Armand wears several hats - overseeing business development activities, marketing, grant coordination, and FOM expansions. He is the recipient of the KASASA Innovation Award 2021 for emergency services to members during COVID.

Community Service/Volunteer activities: Armand was recently elected President of West Orleans Chapter and a mentor in CUNA's Mentoring program. He dedicates much of his time volunteering with Jefferson Parish SPCA , Second Harvest Food Bank, as a Martial Arts instructor to youth, and a Christmas campaign for needy children and families through Slidell Civic Association. He is the recipient of the NOFFCU Golden Service Award, voted on by credit union employees for outstanding service and advocacy to members and co-workers.

What do his peers say? Armand brings a fresh approach to marketing, digital strategy and business development. However, one of the most important things about Armand is what we call his “credit union heart”. From delivering food to members in food desserts, organizing Christmas for needy families, or volunteering at the animal shelter - his heart knows no boundaries.

Will Armand be our 2021 Emerging Leader Winner? Find out on the main stage at LCUL’s 2021 Convention this August!
