ANA GREY ON TNT MYSTERY MOVIE NIGHT
The made-for-TV adaptation of April Smith's GOOD MORNING, KILLER completed principal photography on September 29. It will air as part of the new TNT Mystery Movies of two-hour films based on books by best-selling mystery/thriller authors. Others include Scott Turow and Richard North Patterson. With an all-star cast headed by Catherine Bell (Army Wives, Jag) as FBI Special Agent Ana Grey, the movie version promises to be as exciting and intense as the novel, in which a young woman is abducted from a Santa Monica mall by a serial sexual predator. April wrote the teleplay and is executive producer. For the behind-the scenes story of the making of the film CLICK HERE.

CRIME OF THE MONTH
ITALY: BRIBERY INQUIRY IN SEX CASE
Prosecutors have opened an investigation into a report that two Italian men tried to bribe a Moroccan official to falsify the birth records of a teenager whom Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is accused of having paid for sex. Mr. Berlusconi has been charged with paying Karima el-Mahroug for sex when she was under 18, and with intervening with the police to cover up his connection with her. Mr. Berlusconi denies the charges. An Italian newspaper, Il Fatto Quotidiano, reported that two Italian men offered a registry official in Fkih Ben Salah, Morocco, thousands of euros to change Ms. Mahroug's birth date to 1990 instead of 1992. |
