1 Epiphany, Year B
Sunday, January 10, 2021

The Rev. Michael Matkin

please join us in the way best for you ....

We will have socially distanced in-person worship
on Sunday morning at 10:30 am and by Zoom.

Covid-19 has affected our worship as it has changed all our lives.
We are wearing masks, singing less, sitting apart from each other,
and not shaking hands and sharing hugs,
but we look forward to the day when we can again.
The Nursery is unavailable due to Covid-19.

To join us by zoom, log into the zoom session on our webpage.

The Service bulletin is available on the website
and by clicking here.

Please print the bulletin
before the Service begins
as we cannot show the bulletin as a part of our live zoom Service.

The Altar Flowers are given to the Glory of God in celebration of our new Rector, Fr. Michael Matkin and in honor of our St. Andrew's Family, by The Ladies Farr.

Our wonderful Worship Crew will be:

Rev. Michael Matkin.................................Celebrant
Jean Van DeLinder...................................Lay Reader
Sam Parsons .............................................Acolyte
Brad Rickelman.........................................Video Technology
Gerry Frank...............................................Organist
Renee & Alan Bodine................................Altar Guild Member
Jim McCollom............................................Vestry Person of the Day

We are fortunate that we have the volunteers, the technology, and the support of the St. Andrew's community to allow everyone to worship safely.

Be safe and be well.
Fr. Michael out delivering Epiphany by Candlelight bags.
Blessing at the end of the Epiphany Service:

With a piece of chalk inscribe the following above the front door of your home:

20 + C+M+B + 21

The inscription includes the year (2021), the cross, and the letters CMB. These letters represent the traditional names of the Magi (Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar) and also abbreviates the Latin phrase "Christus mansionem benedicat",
which means "May Christ bless this dwelling."

A note from our Treasurer ....

" The table below summaries a very preliminary Church Budget for the upcoming year. As you would expect, there are many unknown, so we have had to make a number of assumptions to make this projection.

Income for the year is an estimate of where we hope to end up with our stewardship campaign. As of this date, we have received pledges for $108475 from 25 giving units. Also shown is the amount of giving expected from our regular contributors, which is based on past experience. Also note the generous $40,000 contribution from the Diocese. The withdrawal amount show is the funding needed from our investment accounts to balance the budget. We have been fortunate with the investment accounts this year as they have grown by over $12000 and we may not have to make any withdrawals this year to balance the budget.

The Expense forecast is very "bare bones" and is based on getting back to normal operation around mid-year. Let's hope nothing major breaks.

Please remember to return your pledge card to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, PO Box 938, Stillwater, OK 74076.

We understand the hardship and financial stress the COVID pandemic has been for everyone. We recognize and understand, an individual can do and give only what is prudent for their circumstance. Whatever support you can give will be deeply appreciated.

You can make your offerings or contributions through Tithely , make arrangements through your bank to have a check mailed to the church, or just drop a check in the mail (P.O. Box 938, Stillwater, OK 74076).
