I hope this email finds you well as we head into the first weekend of fall! Despite that fact, the weather remains decidedly summer-like .

Before I get into my usual schtick of suggesting that you read some interesting stuff below, I’d like to wish, everyone who celebrates, a happy Rosh Hashanah. Also, if you follow BKCB6 on social media, you may have noticed us sharing the 76 ^th precinct’s news about a lost dog. Happily, the dog, Shaquille, has been reunited with his people!

Anyway, moving on to matters that include presentations, street activity, advice on traffic and more.

Last night our Landmarks/Land Use committee was given two presentations. If you weren’t there, or want a refresher, click here to see DCP’s and here for The Old American Can Factory’s.
This Sunday is The Tunnel to Towers run and here’s how the streets will be affected.
The Atlantic Antic will also take place on Sunday.
If you’re not currently registered to vote, but want to have your voice heard regarding City Charter revisions, October 11 ^th is the last day to register by mail while the 16^th is the last day to register in person at the Board of Elections.

Alternate Side Parking and parking meters will be in effect on Saturday & Sunday while they’ll be suspended on Monday and Tuesday for Rosh Hashanah.
