September 12th - Colorado Springs

This event will give over 700 students from 20 high schools, including 15 CICC schools, the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that provide insight into rewarding construction careers. This day-long event allows students to practice real trade skills while interacting with expert contractors from across the region during an incredible touch-a-truck experience.

HBA of Western Colorado CICC Kick Off Event!

September 17th - Palisade

Join us in celebrating the Kick-Off event for the first school sponsored by the HBA of Western Colorado Chapter of CICC at Palisade High School! HBA Board members, CICC staff, D51 leadership, and community members will gather to celebrate the future of opportunities for District 51 students to explore careers in the construction industry and gain real-life skills.

Summit High School Tiny Home In The SCBA Parade of Homes!

September 21,22 & 28,29 - Breckenridge

This 9' x 30' tiny home is a collaborative project built by students, local tradespeople, and the Colorado River BOCES EPIC program, with contributions from volunteers, vendors, and sponsors. Attendees are invited to explore the innovative design, craftsmanship, and sustainability that make this home a modern, efficient living solution, showcasing the skills and creativity of the next generation of craftsmen.

Western Colorado Construction Career Day!

October 8th - Grand Junction

Western Colorado Contractor’s Association and many community partners have joined forces to bring hundreds of high school juniors to the Mesa County Fairgrounds to provide a hands-on experience of the construction industry and construction related careers. Throughout the day, students are exposed to niche construction careers that encourages a higher education including trade school, on-the-job learning, or a college degree.

Join over 550 high school students and 220 industry professionals for a hands-on experience exploring careers in construction. With interactive booths and representatives from companies, universities, and apprenticeship programs, this event offers a unique opportunity to discover pathways into the construction industry.
