Meet Dominique!

Dominique Rodriguez is our Family Cottage Program Coordinator for our Neighborhood Family Cottages. She has been faithfully serving on our team for over 6 years!

Our Neighborhood Family Cottages span two campuses in Palm Beach County and soon into Martin County. These unique and high-quality residential foster homes specialize in keeping sibling groups together and serving "harder to place children and youth," who may not make it in a traditional foster care setting. Our cottages and cottage parents are often the first glimpse of family, stability and love our children will experience. We are so incredibly thankful for Dominique and our selfless team who lead the way to a brighter future for our children.

"My mission is to serve the foster care community, be an advocate for the children who are voiceless, and teach them that they, too can break generational cycles."

We are so grateful for Dominique and our entire dedicated team of program staff, case coordinators, and cottage parents! They are the front lines of our children's futures.

Throwdown for the Kids is a charity Crossfit competition hosted by @TheCrossfitSquad to raise money for the children and youth in Place of Hope's daily care. The first year they raised over $7,000. Last year they raised nearly to $9,000! Owner and Coach, Derek Bishop says, "Our goal is to raise over $10,000 this year! We created Throwdown For The Kids because we want to make a difference in the world for kids who had little chance at a normal life. We raise these funds in hopes of bettering these children after being saved from trafficking. As a father I can’t imagine this type of thing and how it must affect a person. The least we can do is this."

Registration will be open soon! Want an added challenge? Let Place of Hope give you your own fundraising page and ask your friend and family to support you as you compete to Throwdown For The Kids! Email [email protected] today!
