We Can't Quarantine God

While we have been staying at home to stop the spread of Covid-19 and protect one another, God continues to be on the move - at work in our lives and in our world. As we welcome summer, and we begin to get out more, I continue to pray for your families safety, and I pray that you will actively seek God's loving presence everywhere you go.

I am excited to roll out our ministry plans for the summer in this newsletter, and I am actively seeking volunteers to help make it all happen!

Summer 2020 will definitely be one we will remember! Let's create some great memories together as we continue to grow in our relationships with God and with each other!

Celebrate Pentecost with Us!

As is our tradition, please WEAR RED as you worship with us on Sunday morning through our live-streamed Facebook worship services. Post pictures of yourselves in our Facebook Group ! Be sure to look through the Facebook pictures and show your children how we are all worshiping together, even though we are apart!

Attend our Drive-Thru Birthday Party for the Church! May 31, 2:00 - 4:00 pm!

We'll have individually wrapped cupcakes, live music, a space to drop off your Super Silver Savers and bucket for Noisy Offering, and a place to take your pictures with the Easter cross! You can also pick up a summer ministries bag for your family!

A 12-week "Illustrated Compassion" devotional guide for your family to use during the summer. Each devotional has a Bible story with Imagining Questions, coloring pages for younger and older children, and a suggested family activity.

Upcoming Ministries

Sunday School is Moving to Tuesday Mornings this Summer!

In June we'll learn from Dr. Seuss and from the Bible about friendship!

Note: Age ranges are guidelines (reader/non-reader).

Siblings are welcome to attend the same class if that is more convenient.

Compassion Camp: Stay-cation Bible School

In this completely customizable Camp, your family can have a fun VBS-like experience in your own home. We provide fun videos that walk children through all of the stations. Each of the activities will be able to be completed using materials in found in most homes. Invite friends who don't go to church to participate in their homes (or with you as you feel comfortable).

Registration is free! A link will be provided next week!

Videos will be available to anyone, but if you register, you'll receive an email each week with a supply list and a zoom link where children can share their experiences with others within the MUMC community!
