BRING YOUR BIBLE TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY!

Scripture Lesson

Then Pilate entered the headquarters again, summoned Jesus, and asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Do you ask this on your own, or did others tell you about me?” Pilate replied, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me. What have you done?” Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.” Pilate asked him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate asked him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, “I find no case against him. --- John 18:33-38

2024 Stewardship Campaign “Remember”

What a great October we had in worship, focusing on stewardship and our "Remember" theme based on the guiding scripture, Deuteronomy 8:18 (“Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”) With powerful stewardship testimonies from our staff, and scriptures focused on times of remembrance, we have celebrated the ongoing and life-giving work of God’s Spirit in our lives and in our church.

We have already experienced a good response to our stewardship campaign that will be concluding soon. You may or may not have had the opportunity to fill out a 2024 pledge card, so in case you have not, we have included a link below to a 2024 digital pledge card

for you to fill out and submit ASAP.

2024 Digital Commitment Card Link

Your commitment to our 2024 pledge campaign is an essential tool

that helps guide the planning of Prattville First Methodist Church’s transformational ministries. Without your pledge, we will not be able to offer all of the life-changing ministries you love.

We need everyone to help in this commitment!

Many have asked about church membership, either by profession of faith or by transferring your membership from another congregation. There are two primary ways to join. Some prefer to walk forward and join the minister at the altar rail during the closing song at either the contemporary or traditional services. Others prefer to meet with the minister or attend one of our Next Step classes to learn more about the church prior to joining.

Baptism marks the beginning of our lifelong journey as disciples of Jesus Christ. Adults and youth older than 6th grade who have never been baptized will receive the sacrament of baptism before becoming members. Children are considered preparatory members, and their membership becomes official when they participate in confirmation class in the 6th grade. For more information or to set up a meeting with Pastor Tony regarding membership, please contact the church office.

Sunday Morning Small Groups for All Ages

Christianity was never designed to be a journey taken alone. In fact, we cannot grow into the fullness God has for us without living life with other people. You are invited Sunday morning at 10am to join in a small group or Sunday School class at PFMC. From children to senior adults, there is a place for you to connect, grow in your faith, and experience life like never before. If you have questions, feel free to contact our Director of Discipleship and Missions - Daniel Patrick ([email protected]).
