CONGRATULATIONS to Cameron and Jillian Long in the birth of their son, Mr. Wilson James Long, born November 19 at 1:20 PM and weighing 5 lbs. And 18.8 inches long!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I have not told YOU recently I LOVE YOU consider this message as my heart-
I LOVE YOU AND HAPPY THNAKSGIVING!!
It is Saturday afternoon and I just drank my two cups of coffee AFTER waking up at the crack of noon!!!!
I am increasingly getting “used to” going to bed at 4 AM and sleeping till noon as I care for little Amanda!
My FAVORITE, maybe the only holiday I now enjoy and eagerly anticipate is the one coming next week-THANKSGIVING.
It is the one time of year when families gather-not so much to receive, but to SHARE.
I like what somebody posted last week-EVERYBODY should have a tripod or neglecting that, have several family members VIDEO and/or take pictures and make records.
Not everybody present THIS Thanksgiving may not be present next year.
As I lay quietly in bed this past Thursday night, God silently began speaking to my heart.
I thought of my upcoming FAVORITE holiday-BTW my sister-in-law is making HOMEMADE chocolate pecan pie, chocolate cake with Oreo crust, AND a CHOCOLATE chess pie..................
ALL my immediate family will be there.
MOST, if not all of us are born again Christians:

JESUS WILL ATTEND ALSO and He will also be present at YOUR Thanksgiving festivities!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD gave me a God given idea.
Many of my immediate family are presently sick and/or hurting.
What better time than have a PRAYER MEETING!!!!
James 5:13-15 (KJV)
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
SO...............THIS Thanksgiving I intend to have a family PRAYER MEETING embedded in the usual saying of Grace and Thanksgiving.
What better time than have a PRAYER MEETING!!!!
Hopefully/PRAYERFULLY this will become a long standing tradition that I can leave for my family after my departure from this life!!!
Again, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to YOU and YOUR family!!!

One last thought before I close.
As a Father, I also have “GOOD PLEASURE” at providing for my earthly and spiritual family.
I get excited when I hear YOUR testimonies and hear of our Heavenly Father providing for YOU.
I get excited when I am able to get a thousand calories down little Amanda's throat in the wee hours of the night.
I ask daily if Amanda was able to eat that day's breakfast and lunch.
I get excited when monthly I am able to cover the bills.
I get THANKFUL for every day I see progress in my own health and well being.
I get excited when I am able to sing and play my guitar to bless any and all.
I need not any token or expression of thanks but sho-nuff appreciate it when it happens!!
Imagine God's pleasure when you and me stop for a moment and simply GIVE THANKS to the One Being who gave His all-
JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!
