Beginning July 6, our worship hour will center on learning to love the way that scripture shapes our faith story. Guided by Inspired by Rachel Held Evans, we will explore how the Bible invites us into a living, breathing relationship with God—through stories of faith, struggle, hope, and grace.

This coming Sunday also marks the beginning of our "Good Reads” Summer Sunday School series. Join us for a drop-in adult Sunday school experience that brings all classes together in one space. Each week, a different church member or staff leader will share a book that has deeply impacted their faith journey. Steve Rubino will kick us at 9:30 on July 6 with "Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis. For details, visit chambleeumc.org/inspired

Lunches of Love

July 13, after worship

We had great turnout at our June 29 packing event! There's still another chance for YOU to participate.

On July 13, plan to stay after worship for a pizza lunch and help us pack 200 food bags in support of DeKalb County Schools' community outreach efforts. These bags will be distributed at a local apartment complex through the Read and Rise DeKalb program, reaching participating children and their families.

This initiative not only supports literacy but also helps combat food insecurity during the summer months when many children lose access to school meals. Let’s come together to serve our neighbors and make a meaningful impact—one bag at a time! Click here for more info.
