Dallas, TX March 3, 2019  GOOD RECORDS RELOCATING TO 9026 GARLAND ROAD TO OPEN MARCH 11TH WITH INSTORE PERFORMANCE BY STEVE EARLE.  MASSIVE MOVING SALE GOING ON NOW UNTIL MARCH 10TH.

Good Records was born February 7, 2000.  Our initial location was 617 N. Good-Latimer.  We resided there for 5 years until the Dart rail came through and forced our hand to move.   It came at a much needed to time as we needed to expand as well as a breath of fresh air.  We have been at 1808 Greenville Ave for 14 years now.  We have been the anchor of lower Greenville for our tenure there thanks to our loyal customers.  The time has come to refocus, reset, and spring clean our chakras again.

We recently celebrated our 19th birthday (folks thought we were crazy in 2000 to open).  Since we intend to celebrate our 20th, 25th, 30th, and beyond with you guys, we have decided to relocate to 9026 Garland Road.  The new location is right next door to the thriving Lounge Here and below Super Yoga Palace.  We are also excited to be neighbors with The Kitchen Studios, Humble Pies, Hypnotic Donuts, Zound Sounds, Curious Garden, and the other great businesses near us in East Dallas.    

We are excited to continue providing our customers an adventure in listening.  We love having a musical conversation with our customers.  It will be business as usual for Good Records as it has been.  This past Saturday we hosted Jeff Tweedy of Wilco at the Greenville location which was a resounding success.

Our last instore at our current location will be E.B. The Younger (Eric Pulido of Midlake) Saturday March 9th at 1pm.




We are also having a MASSIVE MOVING SALE Monday 3/4-3/10 culminating with our 2nd Annual Rock & Roll Garage Sale Sunday 3/10 11am-7pm.


Our first instore at our new location 9026 Garland Road will be with our friend Steve Earle on Monday March 11th at 6pm.  It will be the first place you can get his new album "Guy" as its official release date isn't until 3/29.
