Good Shepherd is partnering with Rise Against Hunger to IMAGINE a world free from hunger. We challenge Good Shepherd parishioners to move a total of 2,802 miles -- the distance across the continental U.S. -- to help raise awareness about hunger. Join us as we walk, run, swim, row, cycle, spin or stroll with our Good Shepherd community to reach a combined total of 2,802 miles. Join the challenge to "Go the Social Distance" by signing up HERE. If you have questions please contact Aimee Bostwick.
IMAGINING THE BELOVED COMMUNITY

During our 10:30a worship we are pleased to have guest preacher and Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing, Dr. Catherine Meeks. Immediately following worship, our coffee hour conversation will feature Dain and Constance Perry. This conversation will prepare us for a screening of "Traces of the Trade" on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Jan 18th, at 1pm on Zoom. This documentary follows the story of the DeWolf family, the foremost slave trading family in the Northeast during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Dain Perry is a descendant of the DeWolf family. Please contact Aimee Bostwick to register to attend the screening.
