Back to School Blessing - this Sunday, August 24th
Students of all ages, teachers, college professors--anyone starting (or has already started) a new school year--you are invited to bring your backpack, book bag, or briefcase with you to church this Sunday (August 24th) for our annual Back to School Blessing during the 10:15 worship service.

Women of the Parish…You’re Invited!
The Episcopal Church Women of St Ambrose Episcopal Church
joyfully invite you to join with women of faith as we spend a special day, facilitated by the always dynamic Rev. Canon Kathy Walker, Missioner for Black Ministries for the Diocese of North Carolina. Using the stories of two women from the Bible to explore our theme, we will study, pray, reflect, and talk, also taking time to break bread together and enjoy each other’s company.

The Rally Day Festival on September 7 will feature fun, food, and fellowship (and more!) for everyone in the parish. Look for fun activities like our Great Cookie Bake-Off and Sale, Used Book Sale, and the Dunking Booth! All proceeds will go towards the Beyond Our Doors Little Free Pantry. Don’t miss it! Admission to Rally Day is free, but we hope that everyone will bring an item (or two!) for the Little Free Pantry. Learn about the pantry in our latest blog article, here.

Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter for their popular Moth Night at Crowder County Park in Apex.

Did You Know?
Tips for recycling plastic bottles:
- Keep the lid on empty bottles! Plastic caps are too small to be recycled on their own.
- Crush the air out of your plastic bottles, put the cap back on and then recycle.
- Reducing the amount of air in plastic bottles helps you fit more into your blue recycling cart.
- Don’t put your recyclables in a plastic bag. Plastic bags are not recyclable
