"The Power of Peace"

Rev. Carol Strecker speaking

Vietnamese Buddhist Master, Thich Nhat Hanh says that we can create true peace that can be a powerful force in our lives and in our world. On the leading edge of a new year - with the strains of Christmas’ refrain of “Peace on Earth – Good Will to All People” still ringing in our ears, how can we cultivate peace - in our lives, in our world?

"Racial Karma"

Rev. Carol Strecker speaking

This year marks fifty-five years since the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Marin Luther King, Jr. As we honor his life and legacy it’s important to understand the context, what Larry Ward, PhD calls the “Racial Karma” of the United States and how it continues to manifest today as a path towards transformation and healing.

Bonnie Anderson will be the guest pianist this Sunday.

New Art Exhibit-Gina Tzizik

Gina Tzizik's art Collection is inspired by the universal messages around us that appear in our lives in the most ordinary ways. Gina says: “The Divine messages can seem silent and illusive but, in truth, shows up in the rain, thunder, and synchronicities we experience in our daily lives. The overarching spirit of this collection is Ahavah-Love and Kedusha-Holiness. When I paint and create, the ideas come from my meditative creative flow and the spiritual connection that I constantly strive to illuminate and feel with color and imagery.”

I intend that the paintings reach deep into your heart, whisper that life is sacred, and remember that we are never alone on this journey. The collection will include original watercolors, giclee limited edition prints, and tiles.

Gina Tzizik's collections can be viewed on her website: www.ginatzizikstudios.com
