September Services

September services will take place online on Zoom

and in-person in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m.

September 3rd - Labor Day Weekend - No Service

September 10th - Ingathering Water Service - Rev. Caro Barschow

Each time we gather, we gather anew. Ingathering service is a recommitment to our community and an acknowledgement of what has changed us in the summer months. We reconvene at this end of summer, pouring water - symbolizing the vibrant energy of the summer season - into one vessel. Come share in this ritual and come share in this community, as we prepare ourselves for the turn of season and deepening into church life. If you wish, you may bring a container of water from home or travel.

September 17th - Deep Breath - Rev. Caro Barschow

Welcoming breath into the body anchors contemplative and transformative practices across religions. Medical research indicates focused breathing lowers an individual’s stress and improves overall health. What happens when people breathe together? This service explores how breath can deepen our relationships.

September 24th - Welcoming Guest Minister - Rev. Dr. Danielle Di Bona

To attend the Sunday services via Zoom,

Here’s Rev. Caro’s selfie to commemorate the meal!

Beware of Scam Messages

The church received notification from a member of the church who received a scam message purporting to be from Rev. Caro. There has been a recent rise in “phishing” scams, or fake emails attempting to secure your personal or financial information. Churches are a particular target. Typically, scammers create a fake email similar to that of the minister, and then send out a request to a broad range of people in the church.

Rev. Caro will only send email from the address Rev.barschow@gmail.com and calls or texts from (978) 473-7980. If it’s not from that address, it’s not from Rev. Caro. If in doubt, please alert the church office by phone or at nsuu@verizon.net or contact Rev. Caro.

From the Board of Directors...

Hello, All

At the July 12th meeting of the board a new policy was voted on and approved initiating a new policy and procedure for members who have key fobs to enter the building. The new policy goes into greater detail about the responsibilities of FOB holders. The Administrator has been responsible to give out the keys and has maintained a current list. The difference now is that members that have key FOBs will be asked to sign a form to indicate that they have read and agree to follow the procedures.

If you are a key FOB holder, please click on the below button, print and sign the form, and return it to the office as soon as possible. Copies of the form are also available at the church in a folder on the Welcome Table.

Many thanks, Susan Haas Board Chair
