As Women’s History month draws to a close we’ll take a look back at the historic women's marches that took place all over the world in January 2017. In addition to a being a worldwide movement, these marches created a platform for exploring the complex matrix of oppressions effecting women’s lives.

TRANS-INCLUSION IN CHURCHES

Part 4 of this series will be held in the church sanctuary on Sunday, March 26 from 12-2 pm. A soup and bread lunch will be provided. The last two dates will be on Sun, 4/2 and Sun, 4/16. 


TRANS DAY OF VISIBILITY-JOIN US

Danvers High School Prism is sponsoring a celebration of

“Trans Day of Visibility” on Thursday, March 30 from 6-8 pm

Maple Street Church, 90 Maple Street, Danvers

*Trans Day of Visibility is an annual celebration of the accomplishments of transgender people and to raise awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice.


DANVERS FOOD PANTRY

Reminding people that we are still collecting food items for this important organization that helps provide food security to the Danvers community. We are also looking for someone to pick up and deliver our collection to the Food Pantry every 2 weeks or as needed. Contact Cheryl: cbferris@gmail.com


OPERATION TROOP SUPPORT

A basket in fellowship hall awaits donations of items for troops such as personal care products, snacks, cards, gum, etc. 


SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE
