From Rev. Carol…

I will be on vacation from June 27th through July 31st. During that time, please direct any questions or concerns to Andrea Kaiser, Board Chair. The first two weeks I’ll will on Study Leave; time devoted to planning for the new church year. I will resume my regular schedule on August 15th. I will be available for meetings and appointments after that time. My first Sunday back “in the pulpit” will be September 12th for our annual Water Communion. Don’t forget to collect a little water from a special place this summer and enjoy these precious summer days.

Our Condolences

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff Liacos, NSUU Church Sexton, as he and his family cope with the loss of his brother, David. If you want to reach out to Jeff, your mail can be sent to Jeff Liacos, c/o NSUU Church, 323 Locust St., Danvers, MA  01923.

David Liacos, son of the late Barbara Terry Liacos, died in the early morning hours on Sunday June 12. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Thompson Liacos; two sons, Ryan and Luke Liacos; and four brothers, Peter, William, John, and Jeffrey Liacos.

Dave leaves behind a dignified work ethic. He was particularly proud to have served in the two most notable jobs of his life — as a Sergeant at the Essex County Sheriff's Department in Middleton, and as a Physical Education teacher and basketball coach at St. John the Evangelist School in Beverly. He will be remembered by all as a great role model and friend. Services for David will be private.

From the Board
