Pledge Kick-off Breakfast this Sunday 

Spring Into Action, our 2023 Pledge Campaign, will kick off this Sunday morning, March 5, 2023, with a breakfast at 9:30 AM. We urge all of our members to come in person and enjoy a delicious breakfast of quiche, fruit, pastry and coffee or tea. We encourage you to join us for breakfast--even if you haven't made a reservation.

Why are you here at NSUU now? Each of us has gifts to share that can have a huge impact, gifts that only we can give. Hebrew scripture tells the story of Esther, an unlikely queen who uses her gifts to free her people. What will you do with your gifts? Perhaps, as Esther’s uncle famously says to Esther, “Who knows but that you have come to this place for such a time as this.” As we “Spring into Action” let’s contemplate the gifts each of us brings to a time such as this, a time bright with promise for a new chapter in the life of this congregation.

Social Action

ADVOCACY DAY WITH UU MASS ACTION

The annual date for Advocacy Day with UU Mass Action is Tuesday, March 28th. This day is set aside to meet with other UU folks to advocate with legislators to support a number of important bills supporting decarceration and economic, climate, indigenous and immigrant justice. It would be great if a group of us could represent the church in supporting this event. For more info go to uumassaction.org and/or contact Cheryl Ferris

SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE
