At the Table Colorado Updates

At the Table Colorado 2018 far exceeded expectations! Hundreds of people across the state participated in conversations to meet new people, listen and offer support to each other, while working to create positive, sustainable solutions. Results has been so overwhelmingly positive, that our next round of community Table conversations have been scheduled for April 2019, as part of National Community Service and Volunteer Month. Details will be available soon.

As our partner, the University of Colorado Denver, School of Public Affairs, continues work on the final report for ATTC 2018, we will share data with you as it becomes available. The top four responses to our question: What do you think is the most important issue in your community today? were:

· Water
· Mental Health and Healthcare
· Growth, Development and Affordable Housing
· Equity and Immigration

Strength in Partnership

Table is about the strength and power of partnership and we are thrilled to announce that the Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization (APOYO) will be partnering with At the Table Colorado on our next round of public conversations in April 2019.

AOPYO focuses on youth engagement in the areas of wellness, leadership, common sense, and social responsibility. They create advocacy points around health and wellness initiatives while orienting youth to the AOPYO philosophy, which is reinforced with the practice of tai chi.
