Named one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women, Sevaun is a voice of influence and advocacy on many urban issues, and is frequently called on for media commentary. She has served as a member of the Toronto Police Service Board Transformational Task Force and as a member of Mayor John Tory’s Advisory Panel for International Hosting Opportunities. She also sits on the Board of Directors for NPower Canada, Waterfront Toronto, and is a member of the Ivey Business School Leadership Council.
Paul is a seasoned corporate communications leader with over a decade of executive-level experience at two of Canada’s most iconic companies.
From 2015 to 2018, he was Vice-President, Public and Government Affairs at Canadian National Railway Company. He had North American responsibility for CN’s relationships with governments at all levels as well as media relations, social media, corporate advertising, sponsorships and donations, community relations, and internal communications. 
Mr. Deegan served as Deputy Executive Director of the National Economic Council at the White House and worked for the Government of Ontario’s Cabinet Office. He also interned in the office of the late United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy and at the Democratic National Committee. 
Sandra has been in her role with the Chamber since 2013. In 2016, Sandra was recognized as Employee of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada (CCEC). She landed in the Chamber world after 12 years as the News Director and morning news anchor at KX96 radio in Oshawa.
Sandra serves on the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee as Co-Chair, is the Co-Chair of the Ontario Caucus for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce policy process, is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Peterborough and the Kawarthas Economic development.
