Don't forget - tomorrow is the last day yard waste will be picked up this year. Just a reminder to Riverdale residents – Monday morning is the last yard waste pick-up of the year, so get your leaves and other yard waste to the curb Sunday night for an early Monday morning pick-up.

Planning & Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for Monday. A meeting of the City of Riverdale’s Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled for 7pm on Monday, December 9th at City Hall.

More than City Hall lit up on Saturday! Riverdale’s first Holiday Celebration saw good weather, great friends, a little music and munchies – and a visit from the “Jolly Old Elf” himself.

Materials are now available online for the final meeting of the Riverdale City Council in 2019 will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, December 10th. This will be the last regular meeting of 2019. Learn More! Flags in Riverdale were flying at half-staff Saturday in honor of those who lost their life in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941as part of the 78th anniversary of the event. The dance team from Pleasant Valley High School (located in Riverdale) took two, first-place finishes at the ISDTA State Dance Team Championships in Des Moines on Friday, December 6th. Learn More! A public intake meeting for residents interested in the long-term future of Riverdale's parks has been scheduled for Monday, December 16 at 7pm in the Community Room at City Hall. Learn More! The City Council agreed to extend the preliminary plat for the Woods Estates subdivision to March 1, 2020, as requested by the developer. The extension was granted at a special meeting of the Council. Learn More!
