Girls VBall

Elementary Girls Volleyball Finishes with Energy

TUSD's Elementary Girls Volleyball season finished with a fantastic display of excitement and energy on the court as young athletes from Estock, Peters Canyon, Beswick and Red Hill competed in the finals. After an afternoon of outstanding play from all four teams, Beswick Bobcats finished in the top spot. The season was filled with an impressive display of sportsmanship and enthusiasm as students from across the district competed on teams from many TUSD elementary schools. A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches and Ladera's Jay Warren, who leads this effort. Their work make this unique opportunity possible for our elementary girls.

CT Community Center

Columbus Tustin Welcomes Families to Community Center

Columbus Tustin Middle School welcomed families, staff and members of the Board of Education to the opening of their Community Center. Principal Maggie Burdette and Community Specialist Corinne Pysher encouraged guests to explore all that the Community Center offers families including a food and clothing pantry, computers, children's play area and resource wall. The Community Center was designed to encourage families to connect with one another and the Bulldog Pack while ensuring resources are available to meet their daily needs. Way to go Bulldogs for creating a welcoming and useful space for our CT families and community!

Track

First Elementary Cross Country Tri-Meet a Great Success!

Recently, our Estock Eagles, Loma Vista Cougars, and Ladera Leopards met for the first ever Elementary Track Meet. Hosted at Beckman High School, this Tri-Meet saw a packed house as families and friends gathered to cheer on our young athletes as they ran a variety of races. For many students, this was their first time competing on a full-size track. It was an afternoon filled with hard work, fantastic athleticism and enthusiasm from our youngest track stars. Thank you to our dedicated coaches, Mrs. Morel, Mrs. Flores, Mrs. Chen (Estock), Ms. Keefe, Ms. Krzeminski, Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Crenshaw (Loma Vista), Ms. Ozenne, Ms. Jordan (Ladera) and Coach Tyler Gray-Burrell who helped run and organize the event, for making this opportunity possible for our students!

Enrichment Grants

TPSF Enrichment Grants Support All TUSD Students

Tustin Public Schools Foundation (TPSF) works to create enrichment opportunities at each TUSD school. TPSF offers all principals the opportunity to request funding for projects to enhance the learning environment at their school. Projects include transportation for visits to junior colleges for Hillview students, funding for student performances of Disney musicals and campus gardens. TPSF grants also support efforts focused on school safety, enhancing school spirit, art and Community Centers.

Community support allows TPSF to offer these opportunities to our schools, in addition to the Enrichment Grants which support classroom projects. To learn more and to lend your support, visit the TPSF website.
