In Celebration of a Great 2022-2023 School Year | Across Tustin Unified, students and staff closed out the 2022-23 school year with celebration. THS Visual Arts and T-Tech Students Showcase Talents | Tustin High School seniors highlighted their talents and dedication through the Visual Arts Senior and T-Tech Showcases. Through the Visual Arts Senior Showcase, seniors had the opportunity to share their work in ceramics, photography, multi media design, drawing and painting. In addition, senior awards were presented. At the T-Tech Showcase, engineering students shared their projects in addition to cords being presented to seniors. Both events celebrated the passion and hard work of our Tillers as they shared their projects with families, staff and the community. | | |

Tustin Toyota Awards Beckman Senior New Car through Drive for Student Engagement | Through the Toyota Drive for Student Engagement, TUSD partners with Tustin Toyota to celebrate one senior for their active engagement, consistent work performance and attendance when healthy. This year is the tenth year of the program and 425 seniors across TUSD were eligible for a new Toyota Corolla. Congratulations to this year's winner, Beckman High School's Sydney Deng! Tustin Toyota Director of Parts and Service Glenn Kashima presented Sydney with the key to her car at the Beckman graduation ceremony. Mental Health Awareness Month Activities Across TUSD | Throughout May, campuses across TUSD participated in activities focused on mental health and wellness as a part of Mental Health Awareness Month. Through the work of our outstanding counselors and mental health specialist, students and staff had the chance to enjoy welcoming bridges, yoga, sensory activities, and mental health fairs. Orchard Hills Student Google Doodle Top 5 Finalist |
Orchard Hills' Allison Rhee has been selected as the Grade K-3 National Finalist in the 2023 Doodle for Google student contest. She is one of only five in consideration for Google's national winner, to be announced on June 6.
Allison's submission beautifully illustrated her gratitude for a family trip to Joshua Tree. Reflecting on the experience, she expressed her appreciation for the stars and her love for her family. Allison's artwork and written statement captured the judges' attention, showcasing her artistic merit and creativity. Congratulations Allison for this exceptional achievement!

Data Impressions and Microsoft Celebrate Student Engagement through Go for Daily Engagement Program | Through a partnership with Data Impressions and Microsoft, one student from each TUSD campus is starting the summer with a Microsoft Surface Go device, a part of our Go for Daily Engagement program. Winners, who demonstrated outstanding engagement and attendance, were presented with their devices after their name was drawn from all eligible students. Thank you to Data Impressions and Microsoft for your support in promoting student engagement. TPSF Partners with Community to Offer TUSD Students Scholarships | The Tustin Public Schools Foundation appreciates the opportunity to partner with the community to enrich learning in all Tustin Unified schools. As the school year concludes and graduations commence, we are also grateful to be a part of coordinating scholarship opportunities for TUSD students. This year more than $35,000 in scholarships were awarded through TPSF to 28 students to continue their educational dreams beyond high school. Annual scholarships are an extension of the Foundation's efforts to mobilize the community to enhance educational opportunities. Thanks to the many supporters who help to give back to the next generation of students. Estock Welcomes Families to Opening of Community Center | Recently, Estock Elementary School welcomed families to the opening of their Community Center, one of the newest additions to the our network of community centers. The Estock Community Center is a valuable resource for our students, families, and staff, providing a centralized hub where they can access a wide range of resources and information to fulfill their everyday needs. This dynamic space will foster a strong sense of community and support within Estock Elementary School and its surrounding neighborhood. Summer Meals Available Beginning June 5 |
Children 18 and under can enjoy nutritious meals throughout the summer through our Summer Meal Program. Tustin Unified School District will be offering free lunch for all children 18 and under, ensuring they have access to healthy food during the break.
From June 5 to July 11, free lunch will be available at the following locations:
Utt Middle School: June 5-July 11
Sycamore Magnet Academy: June 6-July 11
Heideman Elementary School: June 5-July 11
Boys & Girls Club in Tustin: June 5-August 9
Tustin Public Library: June 7-July 29
Meals will be served Monday through Friday, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. We want to emphasize that this program does not require any enrollment, paperwork, or income qualifications of any kind. It is open to all children 18 and under. All food is to be consumed on site.
We encourage all families to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity. Please help us spread the word, ensuring that every child who can benefit from this program is aware of it.
