TUSD Student wins car through engagement opportunities

Engagement Opportunities for TUSD Students

We are thrilled to share the return of two engagement and attendance incentive programs.  For the eighth year in a row, we are honored to partner with Data Impressions and Microsoft to give away a Microsoft Surface Go or similar device to one student at every school site in TUSD. All students who maintain daily engagement at TUSD’s schools will have a chance to win!

And for the tenth consecutive year, we are proud to partner with Tustin Toyota to highlight senior role models.  All seniors who maintain daily engagement, outstanding attendance when healthy, and positive behavior at each of our high schools will be eligible to enter a lottery for a new Toyota Corolla generously donated by Tustin Toyota.

We are grateful to Data Impressions, Microsoft and Tustin Toyota for their generous support of our students.  Learn more about the Data Impression opportunity for students and the Tustin Toyota opportunity for seniors in the attached flyers.

Video of Sept Mark Johnson and TPSF President Sona Shah inviting to the State of the Schools

Join Us on September 20th for the State of the Schools

This week, Tustin Public Schools Foundation President Sona Shah joined Dr. Johnson to invite everyone to the State of the Schools on September 20th. President Shah also shared the message below:

Now that our students are back in school, wouldn’t it be great if all of us parents & school leaders could get together as a community & celebrate the wonderful things happening in all of the schools in our district?

Well, we’re in luck! It just so happens that TPSF & TUSD have collaborated to host our State of the Schools event this September 20th.

Please join us for an evening of student-led performances, delicious food, & exciting updates about our schools from our fantastic new superintendent, Dr. Mark Johnson.

You don’t want to miss this - no cap (ask a teen what that means). But hurry - tickets are selling faster than a BTS concert, so invite your neighbors, PTA/ PTO buddies, & anyone else who would like to attend a feel-good evening that restores our faith in humanity. Or at least serves us dinner so we don’t have to cook for one night. Win-win! See y’all there!

Best,

Sona Shah, TPSF President

If you have not purchased your tickets yet, please visit the Tustin Public Schools Foundation's website. We look forward to seeing you on September 20th at Foothill High School!

School Libraries Welcome Students cross TUSD

Recently, libraries across all of our campuses opened their doors for the year to welcome students back. Our dedicated librarians assist students with finding books that are just the right fit for them, remind visitors of proper book care and library expectations in addition to checking out books to students. Our libraries are often among the most beloved spaces on our campuses.  We are thrilled to see the excited faces of students like those shared from Guin Foss and Benson, as they enjoyed their first visit to the library. Looking forward to sharing many more happy moments from our libraries soon!
